Cor-Ten Steel Horse in Poppleton Park

As a part of the Public Arts Board initiatives, the City of Birmingham has conducted a call for entry for new sculptures to be featured in four locations in the City. At the June 16, 2021 meeting, the Public Arts Board recommended that the sculpture Cor-Ten Steel Horse by Barry Harrison to be placed in Poppleton Park. Prior to being installed, the sculpture will first be considered by the Parks and Recreation Board and then by the City Commission. Learn more about the artist, Barry Harrison, and the sculpture here.
